Apports de l''imagerie fournie par le sonar a balayage lateral a la connaissance de la dynamique sedimentaire en Baie de Seine ArchiMer
Auffret, J; D'Ozouville, L.
Continous process recording of lateral scanning sonar allows the observation of bottom sediments repartition contrasts. Their heterogeneity and evolution, the nature of contacts between different sediment deposits can be studied by this instrument, which completes the different techniques used for the sediment dynamics study.

Cartographie du prisme sedimentaire Holocene en baie de Seine orientale, par sismique reflexion a haute definition ArchiMer
Auffret, J; D'Ozouville, L.
After the cartography of a Holocene sedimentary prism, results of 8,000 years of natural evolution and 150 years of coastal equipment, the authors research an active sedimentary system, characteristic of present evolution.

Les radionucleides emetteurs gamma dans les sediments de P''estuaire de l''Orne pendant les annees 1973-1983 ArchiMer
Auffret, J; Guegueniat, P; Lepy, M; Patry, J; Saur, H.
This work has three objectives: 1) review of the evolution of gamma radioactivity in sediments and suspensions of Orne Estuary; 2) comparison of results of contamination here with other estuaries in the north of France; and 3) using artificial radioactivity to study Orne estuarine dynamics.

Modélisation des flux sédimentaires charriés dans la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel (Manche, France) ArchiMer
Ehrhold, Axel; Guillou, Sylvain; Auffret, J; Garlan, T; Nguyen, K.
A study of the sediment bedload in the Mont-Saint-Michel bay is presented here. It combines the use of a 2DH numerical model and a pattern of sediment bedload transport established on the analysis of the statements of sidescan imagery combined with a dense groundwork of sedimentary grab samples. Results show the role of tidal currents asymetry in the realistic bioclastic sand transfert from the subtidal environment to the coast and the divergence of sedimentary dynamic between the maritime bay to the West and the tidal delta to the East. This in-shore transfer is responsable of the Holocene prism construction. The model reproduces tidal sedimentary dynamics with the immediate surroundings of the Mont-Saint-Michel. It shows the interest of the modeling of...
